Around 120 Million People are Infected by Covid-19 : WHO

The number of people infected with coronavirus worldwide has exceeded 120.46 million. The death toll has exceeded 2.74 million.

According to the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University, the number of people infected with the coronavirus worldwide rose to 120.48 million on Thursday morning. Of these, 1.74 million people have died. And so far 60.8 million people have recovered from Corona.

The United States has the highest number of coronavirus deaths in the world. As of Thursday morning, the number of victims in the country was 30.09 million people. And 545 thousand people have died in this epidemic in the country.

Brazil is the second most affected country in the COVID-19 after the United States. The country ranks second in terms of attacks and deaths. In this Latin American country, 10.02 million people have been infected so far and 375 thousand people have died.

Neighboring Mexico ranks third in terms of deaths. Considered affected, the country ranks 13th. As of Thursday morning, 22 million 3 thousand 41 people had been infected and 199 thousand 728 people had died in Mexico.

India, which is in second place in terms of attacks, is in fourth place considering death. So far, the number of victims in the country is 10.01 million people. And 180 thousand people have died.

The UK ranks fifth in terms of deaths and injuries. So far, the number of infected people in the country is 4.32 million people and 126 thousand people have died.

The deadly coronavirus has spread to 192 countries around the world since the outbreak began in China in December last year. The World Health Organization declared the coronavirus crisis an epidemic on March 11.
